Mrs Evans, a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, resigned from the Tavistock Clinic in 2004 after she claims witnessing 16-year-old’s being approved for hormone blocking drugs after “just a handful” of consultation sessions with a nurse.

Mr Evans, who was appointed Governor of the Tavistock in September 2018, quit in January last year after just six months in the job.
