In this episode, I replace an old and seized cable steer on a Bass Tracker. The cable was likely original to the boat and had seen better days, making it necessary to install a new one. I walk you through the process of measuring the old cable to determine the correct length for replacement. If you're able to find the manufacturer's number on the cable, the last two digits typically indicate the length in feet.
Watch as I demonstrate how to remove the old cable, measure it, and install a new one to ensure smooth steering for your boat. I also share some tips and tricks along the way to help you with your own boat maintenance projects.
