Natacha Polony est née le 15 avril 1975. D’origine polonaise, elle enseigne de 1999 à 2000 dans un lycée d’Epinay-sur-Seine avant d’en démissionner. Elle n’a pas accepté les réformes de Jack Lang transformant « l’enseignement de la littérature en une démarche utilitariste ». Natacha Polony s’engage par la suite au sein de Mouvement des citoyens (MDC) de Jean-Pierre Chevènement, tout en menant en parallèle une carrière de journaliste au magazine Marianne comme spécialiste de l’éducation puis au Figaro. « Réac de gauche et anarchiste de droite », elle a la lourde tâche de remplacer le polémiste Éric Zemmour dans l’émission « On n'est pas couché ».
