Began with reports about the historic impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkis by 214-213, where the Senate must now deal with the matter. Probably it will set it aside as politically motivated since a trial on the issues involved would be hugely embarrassing for the Biden admin, which has abdicated its Constitutional responsibility of ensuring that the laws are faithfully executed, including those that govern border security, where it has instead done the opposite. Three Republicans defected in opposition. This the first time that a Cabinet Member has been impeached in about 150 years. Biden has recently admitted the problem but blamed it on (Surprise! Surprise!) Donald Trump and MAGA members, which is about as absurd as it gets. The report on Biden's abuse of classified information was released, where the Special Counsel chose not to prosecute because Biden is a sincere, elderly man with a poor memory, which is no excuse under the law. Biden's doc included highly classified, stored in boxes even in his garage, and were unauthorized to be in his possession. He was only the Vice President and had no declassification authority. Trump, by comparison, has a secure vault approved by NARA and by the FBI and had ultimate classification authority with a standing order: any docs he took home with him were automatically declassified. A new study of voting by email suggests that fraudulent votes tipped the scale in all six of the swing states and thereby (wrongly) gave the 2020 election to Biden when Trump had legitimately won.
