Grounding, what on earth is it?
Earthing, also known as grounding, is the practice of connecting the body directly to the earth's surface. This can be done by walking, standing, or even lying on the ground without any barrier between the skin and the soil. The theory behind earthing is that it allows the body to absorb negatively charged electrons from the earth, which are believed to neutralize positively charged free radicals that can cause inflammation and other health issues. Research on the benefits of earthing is ongoing, but some studies have suggested that it can improve sleep, reduce stress and pain, and boost immune system function.
In this video, I explain what earthing is and how it may help fight disease by reducing inflammation in the body.
