She says her mother didn't have bipolar or some kind of dementia, but was instead a "narcissist" who was a clever and deviant liar, who knew how to play people and did so quite cunningly. She was a narcissist with absolutely no emotional connection with other human beings, even her own children.
Think about that. Absolutely no emotional connection with other human beings. She says what were disguised as mere mistakes were actually acts of evil. That's what Scott Roberts says happens at the big-picture level of the world.
Are many parents actually are evil and hateful? Many people in general are that way. I'd say many parents probably are that way as well, but I want to be careful not to judge too broadly based on my own experiences.
As I have a loving, creative spiritual nature, there are those whose fundamental nature is hateful and destructive. These would be those Jesus referred to as being of their father the devil.
You can't reason with the devil, and the devil isn't going to change. It's the same with these people whose father is the devil. They want to steal from you, push your buttons, disrespect you, cause you to stumble, and destroy you. Many times they have to be covert about these things because they don't want you to catch on to what they really are because that spells game over.
If you think these people are mere assholes, I'm not talking about those. I'm talking about those with an evil personality disorder as though they represent the devil in the flesh. It's different than just a person with both good and evil qualities. They are as pure evil as pure evil gets in a person. I'm not exaggerating. Truly nothing but evil and a whole bunch of acting and disguises to make the evil more covert and more damaging.
Once again, let's reflect on the saying we are all children of God. That's not what Jesus says, so how did this get to be mainstream Christian dogma?

Those of the devil are fundamentally evil and want to be evil. They enjoy lying, they enjoy betraying, they enjoy causing good people to stumble and fall."
That's over-simplifying. I do have in me the capacity for evil as well, just that it is overshadowed by the good, which tends to dominate even without my conscious choosing. For me it's easier and more satisfying to be good than to be evil, and I tend to believe that's because I'm of God instead of being of the devil.
I wouldn't want to be evil. I have a loving nature with a caring conscience. Many others are very different and are truly without conscience, and without even the capacity for love.

It's bizarre how prevalent is the narc nature that doesn't form deep and meaningful bonds, that doesn't really connect to people. This lack of connection is integral to the evil they're able to do to others, even if they aren't severe like many are who sadistically revel in being evil.
The very fact they don't emotionally bond would seem related to a lack of conscience and morality that would be like a gateway to being evil.
Here's a good comment: "THE biggest lesson I learned about narcs/narc lovers, is NEVER try to reason with them. They don't have the capability to have any sort of common sense. Stop and run for your lives."
This is very key. As soon as you identify what you're dealing with, you better stop wasting your time and energy and move on.
I can also see the argument being made that since they aren't human in any commonly understood way, since they are so malignant and predatory, they can be exploited without remorse unlike the loving, ethical people they usually target. I'd like hearing your thoughts about that. True narcs really are something else, and I can see how you can quickly dehumanize them once understanding how they really are composed and function.
If you aren't a true narc yourself then you don't know what it's like being them, and you don't really know why they behave like they do. You can only guess, but I'm guessing it's similar to how I used to project out onto others how I was myself, kind of expecting others to treat me as I treated them sort of thing, and expecting to have my high integrity and high morals appreciated and returned in kind because why would you want to reward good with evil?
A true narc likes nothing more than doing exactly that. Be good to the narc, the narc will be evil to you, and isn't that fun? The narc sure thinks so.
The truth of these matters could link to how we existed before incarnating here. The narc may have a different spiritual root.
