Smoking marijuana to get high is a mortal sin that sends people to Hell & puts you under the control of devils - that's why people do idiotic things when they're "high". Cannabis causes brain damage, psychosis, paranoia, laziness, anxiety, poor judgment, etc. The communist hippie counter-culture movement which broke western morality in the 60s has become normalized, so now for most it is as if using cannabis is like drinking a single beer - when it is not - yet alcohol should also be avoided.

People in pain need God through prayer Who will grant those with true faith true peace to overcome their pain: not drugs (which includes Marijuana). People should also realize that many are afflicted (although not always) with disease, illness & suffering due to their sins. Many people who support "medical" Marijuana use do so to excuse their own addiction & to justify themselves in their sin. Hemp is not to be rolled up & smoked. Its obvious & primary practical use is for textiles. History clearly shows what God intended. People need to realize that it's not a coincidence that wicked liberal politicians are in a hurry to legalize Marijuana everywhere: it makes people docile, complacent & open to demonic influence. Just like the false moral arguments liberals make to supports evils like abortion, compromised individuals do the same to support acceptance of degenerate drug use to get "high" (getting "high" on drugs is a mortal sin). The devil uses self-deceiving people (who are in sin) & false morality to get the wicked to justify sin. There's also a very common pattern throughout history showing that drug use & paganism go hand-in-hand - this is not a coincidence. Idolatry & getting "high" are both of the devil.
