You may be thinking, 'What the hell is that?' A barterable skill is a skill that you can barter with.
IE: You need a pound of ground meat and your neighbor has cattle and needs a portion of a fence repaired. Your neighbor, the farmer, produces ground meat. You have top-notch carpentry skills. In exchange for you repairing the fence, your neighbor pays you with a pound of ground meat.
That is a basic understanding of barterable skills. Why is this important? There's NO shortage of reasons. First is the economy. Holy smokes! We are being told it's better than ever. Really! Then why are more companies at risk of bankruptcy than ever? Or since the Great Depression. WW III, which we are in. Have no doubt about that. No, the puppets on tv don't tell you until they are safe and secure. Far from the chaos. Sure it'll look like they are still close by. Bullshit! Civil Unrest! 2023 seems to be the year for this. Three months ago the French workers were trying to barricade Macron into the President's house to force him to do his job. Now, they are rioting over not one but two young immigrant boys being murdered in cold blood by the police. Some of the protests were legitimate. The rest were a bunch of punks taking advantage of the situation.
The final situation affecting us for years would be a grid down. Or a situation, where we (you and I), would have to ration our use of electricity. Of course, don't worry, the elites will help us manage our electricity use. Because they love us and want to help us…. Talk about bullshit. Anyway, if you remember back around Christmas of 2022, there were people who had their power cut because some asshat ran into a power station. Those who had a whole-house generator were fine. Any kind of generator is a blessing. Trust me.
