Recently, e-commerce giant #Amazon released a document titled "Our Positions," in which they laid out the company's official stances on public policy issues such as the federal #MinimumWage, #Immigration, and #DiversityandInclusion in the workplace. Unfortunately, while Amazon may claim that it advocates government regulations for the good of the people, careful analysis reveals that it is doing nothing more than advocating for regulatory capture to force its competition out of the market and grant itself a de facto state enforced monopoly. In this video, Nate the Voluntaryist, Nightshift10000, and myself analyze each policy point of Amazon's paper and show this to be so.
This discussion was part of my second monthly patrons' hangout for the month of October 2019.
