Russell’s Short Stop Po-Boys is a very popular joint with the locals which is located in Metairie, LA at 119 Transcontinental Drive which is about 16 minutes and 9 miles away from the New Orleans French Quarter. I know some locals that will only eat poboys here and many claim that Russell’s Short Stop Po-Boys has the best roast beef poboy in the entire New Orleans area. Russell’s Short Stop Po-Boys opened up back in 1966 so they definitely have proven experience with making great food and earned many loyal customers.
