Did you know that the unified narrative of scripture is the renewing and restoration of the entire creation? Salvation from the mainstream evangelical understanding is so very scripturally deficient. The scriptural "big idea" is all about the Kingdom of God and His children who join themselves to Him and enter in to His present and coming Kingdom.. The sign of His government is the cross.

DISCLAIMER: We disagree with Bro. Jonathon on the idea of conflation of the Old Testament as he calls it (TaNaKh) with the New Testament so-called (the Apostolic Writings). However, the Torah of Moses is not abolished in Christ but clarified and intensified -- the Law is Spiritual, Holy, Just, and Good .. and is now written on the heart of the Children of the Kingdom. Not a new Law but the heart of the lawgiver. This includes Sabbath and all the commands of scripture.

Messiah, who is the WORD in flesh exegeted or expounded and corrected the misapplication of the Torah and revealed its true intent and praxis or halacha.

Which of the commandments of the Father do you think He regarded as optional or obsolete?
