This police officer got to experience a different kind of flashing lights at a Mardi Gras parade in Mobile, Alabama. The aptly named Officer Jeremy March gamely joined the baton twirlers at the parade, swinging a fiery baton to the delight of the watching crowd. His confidence overcame his skill occasionally as he dropped the baton more than once; however, the cheers of the crowd grew louder, if anything, as they encouraged March on his way.
