the rolling stones - my obsession (take 1)(instr.) - stereo remix II
Edit 2 (instr.) for headphones. Source for this edit is the song on cd 2 of the "Black Box" by Yellow Dog records (YD047).
This one is 4.07 minutes. The official release was cut at 3.19, for obvious reasons (after 3.19 bass and rhythm guitar played some - ouch! wow! aargh! - real bad notes)(also the piano had a little glitch and there are some background noises too of things vibrating with the piano sounds).
Recorded August 3 - 11, 1966, released on "Between the Buttons" in February of 1967.
Electric guitars: Brian Jones & Keith Richards. Bass: Bill Wyman. Piano: Ian Stewart. Drums: Charlie Watts.
MY OBSESSION
(Jagger/Richards)
If you want to sing along, here are the lyrics.
my obsession
your possessions
every piece that I can get
my obsessions are
your possessions
my mouth is soaking wet
I think I blew it now, confession
can't dodge it, it's simple logic
you'd be better off with me and you'll know it
when you lost it, lonely
my obsession are
your possession
are you smiling on my way
my obsession are
your possession
one that you should give away
give it to me now i've no objection
I don't mind if it's unkind
and it's not my property
but I want it just to be mine, exclusively
oooh baby, ooh baby
oooh baby, oooh baby
oooh baby, oooh baby
oooh baby, oooh baby
aaahhhh
you need teaching you're a girl
there are things in this world
that need teaching with discretion, my profession
my obsessions are
your possessions
are you used to the idea
my obsessions are
your possessions
do you feel at home right here
you should relax it's my impression
didn't see you were so young
I could almost be your son
please turn in my direction, no objection

The Rolling Stones are a British rock band from Dartford in the Shire of Kent in England. It was formed in 1962 by founder and original guitarist Brian Jones, pianist Ian Stewart, charismatic singer Mick Jagger with guitarist Keith Richards. Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts then join them and complete the original formation. The band's name comes of a song Muddy Waters blues « Rollin’ Stone » chosen by Brian Jones. Blues even Rhythm and blues African American have always been the main source of inspiration for this formation. The Rolling Stones will quickly become rock'n'roll references, despite their very blues inspiration, and therefore compete with The Beatles whose course is somewhat similar. In opposition to the latter, they adopt an offbeat bad boy attitude and put on a real s
