As a note when Trump talks about household incomes increasing by 7k he is counting the tax cuts towards that. Without the tax cuts it is about 5k (both of those numbers are pre-covid). I'm guessing he is also counting the tax cuts of previous administration's towards their numbers, because those are also higher than what I've heard before.
