Welcome back to 1977 when Jimmy Carter was President, audiences were flocking to go see Star Wars, people were dancing to Rod Stewart, and OMAR (Oil Monopoly Allegiance Regime) executive Lord Clyde had travelled back in time to resurrect the Coyotes and to kill Convoy, the leader of the Vigilantes, and then cripple all other oil companies all across the United States. In this episode we play as the Garbage Man, a mysterious and very stinky short character that collects junk in his Grubb Dual Loader. I’d love to tell you what the real-life counterpart to the Grubb Dual Loader is but after hours or researching garbage trucks from the 1970s, I have no clue. You’d be amazed how difficult it is to research that subject. The closest things I found were either Mack or Peterbilt front and rear loading garbage trucks, but that doesn’t jive with other vehicle models in the game, so I’m going to say that Grubb is sort of an equivalent to a Volvo. It’s a deep rabbit hole to fall down and not nearly as exciting as you may think.
