The Waylanders , Alpha v0.14 - Still a Mess (Pt. 1)

I originally picked this up on release and couldn't get past the prologue due to the cutscenes not triggering. Now with Alpha v0.14, I can push past the prologue and finally get into the game. Everything else is still causing issues: stuttering in cutscenes, abysmal performance (somewhat helped with Vsync activated an hour in), AI not responding, dialog volume being all over the place, and the combat just being a bland mess right now. It also doesn't help that stats disappear when applying new points to core stats, loot and enemies cannot be targeted randomly, and crashes adding to the frustration. I really recommend holding off on this game for the time being, not only for the technical and combat shortcomings, but just for the game feeling so awkward with how the story is presented.
