The ship's fusion orb should provide a massive megaton explosion if it overheats. She puts it in a bowl of ice cream to keep it temporarily cool until she gets the ship out of range. When the ice cream finally melts, BOOM! First, she needs to get it off the ship. The garbage disposal chute should do, but it only opens for the cleaning robot. She spills some cereal in the kitchen to summon the cleaning robot then races it to the garbage chute. She scares it off and takes the cereal. The garbage chute is left open and so down the hatch.
