Suzuki Hayabusa vs GSX-S1000 - Sport-Touring vs Roadster?

I take a look at the Suzuki Hayabusa and GSX-S1000 and compare the different offerings, spanning the (hyper) sports-touring and nakedbike segments, with two very different offerings.

The Hayabusa stays true to the original machine but gets a dash of modern updates with the third generation, offering an impressive sport-touring machine on the premium end.

The GSX-S1000 on the other hand is incredible value, in a more basic package but which has seen refinements over the original GSX-S1000.
