A massive area of the Amazon Rainforest is currently on fire - with Brazil's President, who came to power partially by saying he was going to stop protecting the rainforest, bizarrely claiming that the non governmental groups who are in Brazil …

The denial here is epic and we really need to look at this closely and feel into the situation to know what is really occurring. For those outside of the area wondering how to help, we can at the very least focus our lives into improving our own region, so that we are self sufficient and don't fuel the export trade from the area that the politicians hope to generate from destruction of the rainforest.
