Let's Play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel - Part 7 - Waltzing Matilda References and the Signal

First we complete a side job that not only foreshadows the Vault at the end of the game. but also makes lots of references to a classic Australian bush ballad. After that, we deal with the signal that's being broadcasted at RedBelly's hideout. RedBelly turns out to be a Scav and a Lil Scav who work together as one person. We kill them both and find out the signal controls are smashed, but we can still shut it down by destroying the relays. The Helios laser comes down more frequently as we progress. Zarpedon doesn't care how many lives are lost as long as the moon and its vault are destroyed. When the relays are destroyed, The Meriff tries to contact the station wondering why the override signal went down. He's shocked to learn that the jig is up now that he's learned RedBelly is dead and we're coming for him. He's been working for Zarpedon. Jack wants to meet back in Concordia so we can interrogate The Meriff. Why sell Hyperion out? More questions arise when we get back to the city. The Meriff tries to downplay the threat of Helios' laser trying to destroy all of Elpis.
