When Ron Paul wrote his book, 'End The Fed' in 2008, bitcoin wasn't on the stage yet and the book didn't include any of his opinions which have developed, since. This is why we must revisit the topic of bitcoin to see how it figures into his mind. In his book, Chapter 14, he urged a return to the gold standard, but I think that's the wrong direction, as long as paper gold promises which are never delivered but are treated as if they are physical gold. The contract is always, not sometimes, but always a fraud, because the bankers never deliver on their promise and they always settle in fiat. For this reason the entire world will stop taking freshly printed USD and rightfully so. China and Russia think we are going back to gold, as money. I say otherwise that gold is a barbarous relic and should not be used as money, because the supply, especially considering the production of paper gold promises is absolutely infinite! What is the value of anything that is infinite in supply? It's worthless! Are we going to go back to oxen plowing fields or horses to ride to get anywhere or do we need a modern money that is not going to be printed in an inflation tax that we, the people have to pay while the banker parasites enjoy the best of everything? Peace comes with bitcoin! Give us a choice and let us decide what is money!
