Anyone (such as I) who has personally experienced a loved one’s drug addiction, knows just how destructive it is to the individual. Anyone (such as I) who has experienced the pain and heartbreak of seeing a drug addicted loved one end up homeless has tended to learn certain realities. The vast majority of homeless are either drug addicted, have mental health issues, or both. In fact, as was the case for my loved one, the use of illicit drugs, and the addiction it becomes, is often an attempt by the user to deal with mental health issues. They are self-medicating in attempt to feel better. This is true of those who suffer from bi-polar disorder, depression, manic depression, and other mental and psychological suffering.

What is the solution being offered by the Biden Administration? Let’s keep them high and drug addicted.
