However, Alicia could see the risks for 5-11-year-olds taking the Pfizer Covid Vaccine.

She was asked to oversee the rollout for 5-11-year-olds from her local DHB. She refused on principle.
At an Auckland DHB governance meeting, she drew a line in the sand, and said "No, we should not be giving this".

She has lost her job as a result of the New Zealand government-enforced vaccine mandates for Covid-19.
Her long-term colleagues went silent on her. Her own manager remarked to her, on her last day - "I admire your stand... I admire your courage"
