E.D.F. - Earth Defense Force é um shoot 'em up da Jaleco lançado em 1991 para os fliperamas, sendo eventualmente portado para o Super Nintendo (1991), iOS (2011), Wii (2015) e Switch (2019). Neste side scrolling shooter, os jogadores controlam caças futuristas que devem atravessar fases infestadas de inimigos e seus chefões, usando uma variedade de armas poderosas que podem receber upgrades via um sistema de progressão de níveis onde se ganha experiência na medida em que se destrói as forças do mal.

A partida a seguir foi originalmente jogada só para tirar umas screenshots, mas o Earth Defense Force é, além de bem difícil, bastante divertido. Assim, acabei indo até o final. Decidi também fazer deste vídeo o 28º episódio da nossa série Velharia, aquela sobre games antigos.
