Join Shell Presto in a Sketch 'n' Chat, where I discuss how to tell if your art is at a beginner or professional level or somewhere in between. I'll tell you how I identify what I need to work on to improve my own art, and how you can do the same to improve your own. I'll talk about the difference between liking an artist's work and actually wanting to draw like them, and setting your own goals. I also offer advice on how to approach other artists to get the most helpful and honest constructive criticism from them.
While we talk about that, I'll working on two drawings. First, a realistic watercolor portrait piece of a man, and then an inked illustration of a sci fi cyborg. Both are characters who will appear in future Ascension Epoch books.
Like many of Shell Presto's drawings, this has ties back to my work on her books in the Ascension Epoch universe. Learn more about the books I've co-written and illustrated, as well as the Ascension Epoch in general, here:
