With "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" coming into theaters in 19 days (and ashamed of it's Episode IX tag), it is time to take the plunge into the Star Wars Fandom that I have only now slightly touched on here and there. "Star Wars" was a property that held a lot of meaning in my life. It lead me to filmmaking, into greater geekdom, and lots of lifelong friendships that I maintain to this day. And ever since the Disney purchase in 2012, it hasn't felt the same, save "The Mandalorian". But one TV show after FOUR YEARS OF GARBAGE will not pull me back from all the events that have lead to this moment.

The moment is when I #WalkAway from "Star Wars" and dump it in my childhood until I feel like revisiting it at a later date. Despite being objectively bad, I LOVED The Prequels, and I always hated seeing people fling doodies at George Lucas for them, but I now fling doodies at those people for driving George Lucas to sell to Disney, because what followed The Prequels will be forever tainted and unable to be saved.
