Tracey’s Original Irish Channel Bar has been located in the Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans at 2604 Magazine Street for many years but now they have closed down as they are moving to a new location. The owner of Tracey’s first became famous for roast beef po’boys when he owned the nearby Parasol’s bar where he was leasing the building which was sold so he moved right up the street to the much larger location of Tracey’s. Parasol’s is still slinging roast beef po’boys but most of the food shows that have featured Parasol’s roast beef were filmed back when the current owner of Tracey’s was making his roast beef po’boys there so for those who want that Parasol’s roast beef they saw on those food shows need to eat at Tracey’s for that. We are hoping the new location of Tracey's which is nearer Louisiana Avenue will be open in time for St. Patrick's Day.
