I am something of an advocate of DC electricity I personally believe that in the future, HVAC will be insufficient for our electrical needs, and will subsequently be replaced by HVDC. That said, I prefer to have everything converted to DC first, then run through the necessary down-converters and channels to become usable in day-to-day life. Using car cigarette lighter USB-C PD converters makes much more sense to me, than to have one that is exclusive to AC, or require around 120-170v DC.

As for the end of the video, what I should have said is that, if someone else needed the USB-C PD cigarette lighter converter, I could just use the Inatech 111w, in place of the other converter.
