Aewar's first in a new series that seeks to debunk some of the more generalised and imaginative theories presented in the previous LHFE series and examines nuances and details in our given history in a far more in depth and prudent manner.
Part 1: The Mystery Of The Cathedrals
From Aewar's Youtube Page:
The Labyrinth of the Lost Guild - Chapter One
Time to showcase my amateur photography and camera skills. There are a few historical images in here but otherwise all images and footage have been taken by myself.
It feels like I’ve been waiting to get this series going for a long time now. New beginning, new start, new approach, new discoveries!
The labyrinth is a complex metaphor that reflects my journey in search of hidden keys and my engagement with both the historical and alternative narratives.
Part 2: Ships Of Heaven
Aewar's Page:
The labyrinth is a complex metaphor that not only reflects my experience of digging through Europe’s (architectural) history but that also allows me to be more flexible with my writing form and structure - something I particularly struggle with. It permits me the freedom to be non-linear and not impose too much structure on a subject that resists tidy explanations and coherence. Most would agree that a primary means of historical fabrication is through the mode of narrative. But have you considered that the architecture itself has also been utilised as a means of historical fabrication? It is much more complex than I realised a year and a half ago and, as I continue, I plan to demonstrate just how complicated it is. I took most of the photographs and footage in this episode last year. A lot more to come in future episodes.
