The Sunday World... more like Bore Ragnarok.
So, I'm not particularly fond of tabloid newspapers, nor of television, nor of advertising. Unfortunately in the last week I've been exposed to all 3. I did find this pretty interesting. I saw this ad many many moons ago when I may have been in an altered state of consciousness, so forgive my somewhat strong feelings towards it. This is certainly one of the more hyperbolic SkratcheR commentary outings, but I do think this ad is pretty pathetic, moreso than most. The Sunday World might be alright for getting footy news or celeb gossip but the way it's been promoted recently was just too much for my baked little brain. The year may be 2024, but I refuse to believe we've reached idiocracy levels of widespread human incompetence. Not just yet.
The Irish Sunday World, and I guess the greater mainstream media disagrees. While it's not as outwardly annoying as the likes of the Temu ads I've been getting recently, it still perturbs me. My apologies for the Femboy Pyrocynical...
I mean like...
After a few pints tho...
Anyway uhhh Keywords Keywords Keywords... From everything I've read; the description is the new tags, hence why I may seem a little robotic down here, I guess the point of this video is a bit hard to sensationalise, I just think this ad really shows off and relishes in a lot of the worst parts of recent cultural devolution. Everything about it is just so shallow, and for a little while, my stoned ass was as perplexed as it was upset by it, then I remembered that tabloids are a dying medium and this is nothing more than a desperate attempt to cling on to some form of relevancy among the few remaining souls that watch Television, and all was well again.
You weren't supposed to be able to get here; you know?
