Dead of the Brain 2 (デッド・オブ・ザ・ブレイン２) (PC-Engine CD, 1999)

Dead of the Brain 2 (デッド・オブ・ザ・ブレイン２) is a horror adventure by Fairy Tale. It was originally developed for PC-98, and was later ported to the PC-Engine/ Turbografx CD and sold in a bundle with its predecessor. The game is a visual novel and has much less interaction than the first game. While the latter had an interface with several commands, you now mostly click on hotspots. Sometimes you have fights where need to decide where to attack within in few seconds.

The first game had a scenario similar to the film "Reanimator", where is scientists tries out a medicine to resurrect dead people, which tuns into zombie outbreak. The sequel continuous two years after the events of the first game, and the dangerous medicine seems to have resurfaced.
