In this episode, the Science Patrol responds to a series of strange occurrences involving disappearing ships and airplanes in an area known as "Area X." Suspecting the involvement of a mysterious underwater creature, the team sets out to investigate. They encounter the monstrous Neronga, whose powerful electromagnetic waves are causing objects to vanish.
As the Science Patrol engages Neronga in battle, they realize the magnitude of the threat it poses. Despite their best efforts, Neronga proves to be a formidable opponent, using its abilities to outmaneuver the team.
