First time I picked up a guitar in months, so I'm quite rusty. Also, Clone Hero has some serious issues with same notes that quickly alternate between Ho/Po/S (What we call Soulless Strumming). So, while I am doing quite bad, even for how difficult these are, it isn't necessarily all my fault.
These songs are very old: ten years, or more, in at least one case. Paradox 1 was the first song that I wrote that I felt sounded "good"; though was still definitively made for Guitar Hero. Paradox 2-5 were really always meant to be the exact same song, but with different patterns; this was because they were meant to tell a story, but a story from five perspectives. Unfortunately, due to the nature of being new to FL Studio, and also being a kid, I neglected any (good) sound design, in favor of pumping them out. The last Paradox song came out, and I really did have to rush it, on Dec. 31, 2011. These songs aren't even mastered; they're just instruments on top of instruments. That said, it is highly possible that they clip badly on cheaper systems.
I actually do have several more songs from this time period. I suppose you may actually like the charm of these songs, being the oldschool style that I more-or-less invented (for, and by myself). Then again, maybe you think they're all garbage, and should never see the light of day. Either way, you're right; if only unto yourself. On one thing we can all definitely agree: my current style of metal is better than whatever this electronic style is, in terms of sound design.
