xxxx Amendment Brewing out of San Leandro Ca. has released this interesting experiment of a fruited wheat ale. It's been around for a couple of years and seems to be part of their seasonal rotation. It is an interesting if somewhat of amiss for me brew. Light on the nose w hints of fruit and a teaser of spiciness redolent of belgian yeast. The initial hit is watermelon fruity fast thru the middle and she finishes up dry and dirty on the back end due to the melon lingering on the palate.
The ABV is 4.9 the IBUs are 19 and I'll give the yellow gold color an SRM of 8. She's not a bad beer but it's not going into my rotation.
