Just in case you didn't know, globes are not geographically accurate, especially when you compare flight paths with an azimuthal equidistant (flat) map. The azimuthal equidistant map always makes much more sense, the globe model/idea is just plain silly. Sounds crazy to hear at first because we've been taught (brainwashed) since childhood that we live on a spinning ball flying through an infinite space. But rest assured, once you do the research you'll find out too that earth has no observable curvature, and the people responsible for "teaching us" throughout school, we're really just programming us...
