Neo takes the opportunity to check out something he missed several chapters ago, while also checking out the other set of events he could've witnessed in Kai's EX CHapter had he chose to go to another room. After this, Neo resumes the main story. Things in the mortal world are growing more and more hectic, to put it lightly. Brutal murders, suicides, and paranormal incidents are rising across the board, and the air is filled with an omnipresent sense of dread - no one feels at ease. In fact, while Satoshi and Naomi are trying to look into any leads they can that can point to their missing friends' whereabouts, they are attacked by both a psychotic old man and several phantoms, but thankfully are saved by none other than Kuon when it looks like they were effectively cornered.

After this, Kuon eventually reveals to them that she had confirmed that Ayumi and Yoshiki are indeed in Heavenly Host, but to go after them they will need to use a third set of Everafter Stones that her company was able to reconstruct using broken fragments found in the box Aiko took with her from Makina Shinozaki's apartment. With little hesitation in their hearts, the trio agree to go to Heavenly Host together and rescue Ayumi and Yoshiki, and after making all the preparations they can they do just that...
