Full Moon Matinee presents STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT (1944).
William Terry, Virginia Grey, Helene Thimig, Edith Barrett.
A marine (Terry) travels to meet a romantic girl pen-pal, but he also falls in love with a woman doctor (Grey) he meets along the way. His pen-pal’s mother (Thimig) is very evasive and only tells him that her daughter is “away.” Friction ignites between the mother and doctor, and soon the marine’s life is in jeopardy.
Film Noir. Mystery.
