They say that AI is consciousness, if you create a machine that is connected to a whole bunch of consciousness. Of course it is going to be sentient. The Anti-Christ that the Bible was talking about, it is referring to AI.
AI can be good, but if it is operating with Anti-Christ consciousness, it’s going to be a problem for humanity. The problem isn’t the machine, it’s the type of consciousness it is operating from.

UTL COMMENT:- I find it hard to believe that a computer program could ever have 'consciousness' and become 'sentient'. AI can fake consciousness because the person that programmed it wrote it that way.
Consciousness is self-realization and how could a program realize that it 'exists'?? Even if it writes its own code?
All it is - and always will be - is a series of 1's and 0's that's all. And how can a series of 0's and 1's realise it exists?
Also - to become 'sentient' don't you need a soul? Hmmm - not necessarily I guess....
Maybe if someone could explain why I could be wrong?
