Starting off, we have 'Swimming in a Sakura-Colored Sea', by far my favorite level theme in Touhou 16. As you probably are already aware, Hidden Star in Four Seasons is the first Touhou game to make it onto Steam, and I figured I'd get it and try to beat it before 2018. Needless to say, that didn't happen, but I was eventually able to 1cc it as every character by the 20th of June. After playing though this game so many times there were bound to be a couple of tracks that got stuck in my head, and this happened to be the most memorable of the bunch (that wasn't the final boss theme). I initially toyed with the idea of taking a riff from Battletoads 'Wookie Hole', because I thought they sounded kinda similar...? I quickly abandoned that idea when I realized that no, it wouldn't be appropriate for this album. Maybe another day...
