Since the suspicion has apparently been substantiated, the Syrian will be brought before the responsible magistrate on Thursday, August 1, at the request of the public prosecutor's office. The "Bild" found out that the Syrian had come to Germany in 2015. He was known to the police for minor offences such as property damage and theft.

He had also chopped off his victim's arm. The newspaper also announced that the victim's living conditions were a three-person shared flat in one of the high-rises, but the Syrian had already moved out before Christmas. He was replaced by a man from the Congo. Nothing is known about the third inhabitant.
