Marvel Comics has a creative continuity issue. Far to often they begin a series with a well known and highly skilled artists only to replace them within 2 or 3 issues. Marvel Comics practice of bait-and-switch with artists kills customer confidence in their creative continuity. Recent examples of Marvel Comics lack of emphasis on creative continuity are; Conan the Barbarian, Marvel 2-in-One, Return of Wolverine and Marvel Knights: 20th.

The practice of bait-and-switch with their artistic and writing talents is killing customer enthusiasm and eroding trust in the brand. Marvel Comics customers can no longer trust that when they initially invest their time and money in a series that the artists will be on it for more than an issue or 2. The continued practice of bait-and-switch with artists will continue to diminish comic sales nation wide and encourage customers to wait until trades are released to invest their time and money.
