Robin Hood Suite by Frederic Curzon

English composer Frederic Curzon composed this suite for orchestra in 1937. The work is a musical depiction of the legend of Robin Hood. Specifically, this suite focuses on the more well-known version of the pseudo-historical character, with Robin Hood being a noblemen forced into exile by the despotic Prince John, the younger brother of King Richard I (Richard the Lionheart).

This suite is comprised of three movements, each representing a famous part of the tale:
