The British opposition leader lashes out at the ruling Tory party over the country’s current economic crisis. Starmer says the Prime Minister is unable to fix the chaos she caused after unveiling her economic growth package last month.
Starmer also accused the Tories of putting the party before the British people. His comments came a day after Truss fired Kwasi Kwarteng as her Chancellor of the Exchequer on Friday replacing him with former foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt. She also once again scrapped parts of her tax-slashing mini-budget that sent markets into turmoil and caused uproar even in the ruling conservative party.
