Still clinging to hope in saving Seiko's life, Neosekken and Naomi manage to do just that and prevent her from suffocating to death in one of the bathrooms -- only for Seiko to run from Naomi in fear, and end up suffering a different death than before. Sachiko appears to Naomi and Neo and reveals that she tricked Naomi into believing she could save Seiko, for basically no reason other than to see what other way Seiko could be killed within Heavenly Host since, according to Sachiko herself, all those who died within Heavenly Host are destined to die no matter what and that any attempts to save these souls is doomed to failure. Unable to accept this, Naomi craddles Seiko in her arms, overcome with despair over her failure to save her friend.

Neo, feeling bitter over being played like a piano by Sachiko, proceeds to start Chapter 2 after making sure to complete Chapter 1, and upon doing so he finds himself taking control of Mayu Suzumoto, who manages to avoid her original fate from "Blood Covered" and begins searching Heavenly Host for any signs of her friends, especially Morishige...
