She could have added, that they are employees of a business (you can find the ABN details for every "Police force" of Australia with ABN lookup. Use their ABN. They are employees of a business and as such, as confirmed by the High Court, can NOT enforce ANY law.
Furthermore, when asked, your "name", use ONLY your Christian name x, born of the family y. Your drivers license "name" is your corporate "contracted" entity to Statutory Regulations etc. Stand as a living man or woman, Christian name only. If you want to help them out, you can let them know that the corporate entity they may be seeking is x W (with all caps surname), but YOU are x, born of the family y. Stand as a private entity, a Subject of the Commonwealth, your name is x.
