Have you ever gotten into a painting only to run into trouble with it and find that it's not working?
This has happened to me many times and can be very frustrating! However, very often, your painting can be salvaged.
In this video, I demonstrate a seascape painting with which I ran into problems. Even with the best planning, sometimes compositional errors or other problems can occur.
This painting had a major issue with the sky which for some reason I never spotted during the planning stage. I left the painting unfinished for over a year before fixing the problem by returning to the drawing board!
In the end, I created a painting that I was really happy with.
