Thunder Cross II is a horizontally scrolling shoot'em up developed and publised by Konami. It was only released in the arcades.

Similar to Gradius, shooting down certain enemy formations completely will give you a power- up. You can get speed ungrades, different weapons and small ship accompanying your ship. The small ships will also fire and can be used to fire special weapons (if you manage to collect them). Special weapons require a recharge after a few shots.
