A Beginner's Guide To Bitcoin:

In this video, I discuss the short-term correlation between stocks and Bitcoin, and the differences between a safe haven, stock market hedge, and store of value.
Bitcoin is an emerging store of value that is slowly stealing market share from other stores of value like gold. Over the short-term, Bitcoin may crash with stocks, but only because its ultimate value is not yet understood widely by market participants.
If you wait until something is fully priced in by the market, you will always miss out on the most price appreciation (e.g. Amazon).
Even historical stores of value like gold have a history of selling off during market crashes like 2008 and March 2020.
"Store of value" status needs to be measured over decades, not days. Over the long-term, Bitcoin has proven itself to be NGU ("number go up") technology, due to its scarcity and utility.
