Released on October 20, 2020, Frictional Games' third title in the Amnesia series was met with huge anticipation. The game was met with mostly high praise among reviewers, although certain among them criticized some aspects of the game, lowering their overall rating of it. The standard controls of Amensia: The Dark Descent apply to this game as well. W, A, S, and D provide movement, with Q and E used to lean left and right, respectively. LMB interacts with something, while RMB cancels the interaction; RMB also doubles in use to throw a held item. The space bar is used to jump, Left Ctrl crouches, and Left Shift will make your character run. Several other utility keys are used as well: F to use a lantern, R to use a match, C to use an amulet, X to check your belly, Tab to view your inventory, J to remind yourself (quest points), and N to view your notes.
You wake up deep in the desert of Algeria. Days have passed, but you can't remember where you've been, what you've done, or where anyone else is. You are Tasi Trianon. You must retrace your steps, somehow recall pieces of your past, and *hopefully* survive a horror — without pause, without reasoning, without pity — threatens seem now to hunt you down. Will you escape the danger dogging your steps? Let's play Amnesia: Rebirth and confront what awaits.
