Ever feel like you just can't catch a break? It's easy to get bogged down by the daily grind and forget about the good things in our lives. But the great Zig Ziglar reminds us that "the more you express gratitude for what you have, the more you will have to express gratitude for."
Gratitude isn't just about feeling thankful for the big things in life. It's about appreciating the little things too – a morning cup of coffee, a beautiful sunset, a kind word from a friend. By taking the time to savor these moments, we cultivate an attitude of abundance and attract more positivity into our lives.
So even when things are tough, try to find something to be grateful for. Especially when things are tough. It could be the support of loved ones, the opportunity to learn and grow, or even just the fact that you woke up this morning. When you focus on gratitude, you shift your perspective and open yourself up to a world of possibility.
Sit down and list out 100 things you’re grateful for, no matter how small or trivial you might think. You’re not going to show anyone this list, and it doesn’t matter if you can’t hit 100 items. It’s just an exercise between you and God, to exhaust your capacity for gratitude. “Train to the point of failure,”so to speak. That’s how you grow your gratitude muscle until it becomes second nature.
